Katrina Robertson surrendered her life to Christ in 1994 at Second Baptist Church in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Soon after, she met her husband, Shane and he surrendered his life to the ministry. They were married in 1996 and have been serving together in ministry ever since. They have two children, Savanna and Conner. Shane is the Discipleship Pastor at Hot Springs Baptist Church while Katrina is active in the Women’s ministry. She also enjoys working with and teaching teenagers and volunteers her time at the Hillcrest Children’s Home.

Both Katrina and Shane graduated with honors from Ouachita Baptist University. She majored in Professional Accounting and went on to work with public accounting firms after graduating. She also spent some time doing Statutory Accounting in the insurance industry while in Ft. Worth, Texas. After 7 years in the accounting profession, Katrina felt the Lord leading her to a different career and she left her job to search where she needed to be. She knew she loved to teach people and she also knew she had a passion to help people understand their finances and reach their goals. Unsure of how to combine the two in a job, she sought the Lord’s guidance for nearly a year before He opened the door at Christian Financial Principles. She had been a client of Richard and Todd’s for quite a while and was thrilled to now be a part of their team and vision. She spent 3 months taking classes and exams to become securities licensed and is now doing what she is passionate about: teaching people Biblical financial planning and Christian values investing.
