In our first program, we decided to "put money in its place." Many view money as a measure of power, success, security, or significance. Even amongst Christians, we have a worldly view of finances. Statistically speaking, Christians are no different from the world when it comes to things like debt levels, bankruptcy rates, divorce due to financial problems, or even giving percentages. We are called to a higher standard; yet, we look just like the world. Our goal in this program was to set the stage for what we hoped to accomplish in future episodes. Our hope is to encourage and equip Christians to be effective stewards of the blessings God has provided to them.
